Solución de problemas comunes al ejecutar Tor VPN.

Si Tor VPN no puede conectarse, es posible que veas un mensaje de error:

To troubleshoot, try each of the following:

Comprueba los ajustes de Android

  • Asegúrate de no tener otra aplicación VPN en ejecución. Android does not permit the use of multiple VPN applications at the same time.
  • Asegúrate de que no se esté ejecutando ninguna aplicación de cortafuegos (firewall) en la red. Firewall application usually use a VPN connection and if running, will prohibit Tor VPN from making any connections.

Change Private DNS settings

Tor VPN does not support setting the DNS provider hostname manually, as doing so bypasses Tor and reveals the sites you visit to the DNS provider. When using Tor VPN, DNS resolution is done by the Tor exit relay in your Tor circuit. If you have configured a DNS hostname on your Android's Network settings, you can change them following this steps:

  • Navigate to your Android device's Network and Internet settings.
  • Tap on 'Private DNS'.
  • Set it to either 'Off' or 'Automatic'.

Comprueba la aplicación Tor VPN

Dar un vistazo en el registro de Tor VPN puede ser útil para diagnosticar el problema. Para obtener el registro de Tor VPN:

  • Pulsa en “Ver los registros de Tor” desde el mensaje de error o desde la pantalla “Conectar”.

Error nº 1: Comprueba la conexión a Internet

Error nº 2: Comprueba si Tor está censurado en tu red.
